Our Story

We've spent the last 12 years developing personal relationships with close to 60 local farmers and their families. These partnerships are built on respect and trust as we're determined to help them grow. We want to put more food dollars into local farms so they can continue to grow the most nutritious and delicious produce while preserving farmland and biodiversity around Toronto.

We believe the creation of a local food system, built on principles of sustainability and biodiversity, can be both financially sustainable for farmers and affordable for consumers.

We do our best to always support the environment. Buying locally conserves energy, promotes biodiversity and protects open space. We're committed to working strictly with farmers who grow organically, in all senses of the word. We believe in growing produce the way nature intended - sustainably, and holistically, without the use of pesticides. We're so lucky to work with farmers who are always striving to improve produce quality and nutrition, soil health, and environmental diversity with each new growing season.
